Reflection on Second Quarter: Mastering HTML Tags

Image
The second quarter introduced me in the world of HTML tags, transforming my initial understanding into a confident understanding of web page structure.  I progressed from simply recognizing tags to understand their  relationships and the importance of attribute usage.  The practical application of these tags strengthen my understanding, allowing me to build functional web pages.  I have learned how to use tags and when to use them.    While the learning , my biggest challenge were my tags are accurate and correct but whenever I open them to a web browser, there would be something wrong with it.  Identifying the source of errors within intricate HTML code proved frustrating at times, especially when dealing with difficult and many codes. Not knowing where the problem in your coding is very time consuming. Another hurdle was grasping the subtle differences between seemingly similar tags and their appropriate usage contexts. The Exploitation of Such Beauties

The Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 (RA 9262) is an instrument to fight against VAW in our country. However, other laws has also a significant role in addressing different problems of this difficult issue.  The RA 7877: The Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995. The law has helped raise awareness about sexual harassment and empowered victims to find justice. It provides legal power for vict...

Elpidio Quirino:More than Just a President

Elpidio Quirino. The term brings to mind the Philippines during the reconstruction era after the war. But for me, studying his biography opened up for me more than an interesting historical event, it is a tale of fighting spirit and hard work, as well as gratitude that in some way or the other inspires us right now.  My exploration into the life of Quirino started off as uninterested. He is largely lost in the pages of history books given by colourful personalities, and is mentioned only as a side reference in the struggle for freedom for the Filipinos. But the deeper I went into the subject, the more I began to appreciate how completely inappropriate that assessment was. His is a tale worth telling not only for its relevance to history, but for its richness of humanity as well.   His early life, far from being privileged, was marked by a quiet determination. Born in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, in 1890, his family background, though modest, instilled in him a strong work ethic a...
