Reflection on Second Quarter: Mastering HTML Tags
The second quarter introduced me in the world of HTML tags, transforming my initial understanding into a confident understanding of web page structure. I progressed from simply recognizing tags to understand their relationships and the importance of attribute usage.
The practical application of these tags strengthen my understanding, allowing me to build functional web pages. I have learned how to use tags and when to use them.
While the learning , my biggest challenge were my tags are accurate and correct but whenever I open them to a web browser, there would be something wrong with it. Identifying the source of errors within intricate HTML code proved frustrating at times, especially when dealing with difficult and many codes. Not knowing where the problem in your coding is very time consuming. Another hurdle was grasping the subtle differences between seemingly similar tags and their appropriate usage contexts. This required big attention to detail and a thorough understanding of best practices. It also includes the difficult codings that I needed to figure out for myself how to do it.
To overcome difficulties, I adopted a systematic approach, employing browser developer tools to inspect code and pinpoint errors. I also found immense value in collaborating with peers, sharing solutions and troubleshooting together. I also thought myself to analyze briefly every introduction of new tags in order to avoid mistakes while coding to make everything easier. Breaking down complex tasks into smaller, manageable components helped me to focus my efforts and avoid feeling overwhelmed. Through consistent practice and persistent problem-solving, I gradually improved my skills and coding.
Moving on because of my interest in HTML tags, I plan to expand my knowledge. I will continue practicing in my free time, focusing on more ambitious projects to further refine my skills. I also aim to explore advanced HTML features. My goal is to become more good and professional about HTML tags. I know that in the future this will help me. In this quarter, HTML tags helped us all to refine our skills in problem-solving. Soon, it will help us apply it in the real world.
